Handrails + skirting for luxury London apartments

Handrail Creations have been chosen to supply and install bespoke helical handrails and skirting boards in two of London’s most prestigious apartment. The ‘Glebe’ project in Chelsea is a collection of villas and apartments designed by Norman Foster, each with their own swimming pool, lift and games room.

The FSC® certified cut string skirting was almost 600mm tall, and has been cut from solid blocks of Tulipwood.

Our digital surveys have once again proven invaluable, reading the shape of the nosing and allowing us to pre-cut the skirting board to the correct shape. The ‘pigs ear’ style handrails are to be primed and painted, designed to be a subtle and elegant solution without clunky steel brackets.
