The ‘Weybridge’ project showcases Handrail Creations’ expertise in creating custom balustrade solutions. Located in a private estate in Surrey, this project involved manufacturing and installing over 20 meters of continuous curved and helical handrails from European Oak for a cantilever stone staircase.

With no accurate drawings available, we used our 3D scanner to plot the staircase and design a handrail and balustrade that would wow guests at the main entrance of this stunning home.Our team crafted the handrails from European Oak with our CNC machines. These handrails were pre-drilled on the underside to facilitate direct attachment to cast metal spindles. The balustrade was electroplated with brass to achieve an antique finish that oozed sophistication, with slightly different colours on the ‘nodes’ in the centre of the spindles.

To enhance the curved wooden handrails’ appearance and seal from oil damage, we French polished the handrails on site.
