This impressive handrail and bannister combo had us seeing double! Fitted to two mirrored, curved stairs in a luxury private home in Surrey, the brass spindles matched the incredibly high specification seen throughout the house.
We were pleased to be able to bring this private client’s clear vision to life. The art-deco style spindles were installed by our team directly into American Ash handrails with no need for welding and contrasted perfectly with the marble floors and stairs. Working with private clients often allows us to hear exactly what is wanted, whether that is on our surveys, on the drawing we provide right the way through to the installation and finishing of the handrail and balustrade.
Not only are the handrails manufactured to be continuous and curved, they are finished to the highest standard. Expertly colour-matched by our French polisher, the ash handrails match the interior doors in the property perfectly. The geometric spindles were electroplated in brass and then hand-finished in an antique but stylish fashion. Part of why we love doing what we do is knowing our handrails and balustrades will be the centrepiece for homes and buildings up and down the country and this stunning home is certainly one of them!
