When an accolade of any kind is handed out, you want to make sure it has an impact. Most trophies are glass or metal. Timber gives an award weight and warmth. Our design team creates one-off wooden trophies and awards, which are then brought to life in precise detail by the 5-axis CNC machines in our Bolton workshop.

Every custom wooden trophy is crafted from the finest hardwoods available, and we can add a personal touch with engravings, logos and bespoke designs. We’ve designed and produced a number of awards for construction and timber award ceremonies, but there’s no reason to be limited by industry. Custom wooden trophies, designed from scratch

Unlike off-the-shelf trophies, every award we make starts with a blank page. Our designers and engineers develop each design using the same product design software we use for our bespoke timber handrails, so every detail is considered before anything is made.

Once the design is approved, it’s programmed and milled from solid timber on our 5-axis CNC machines. This allows us to produce intricate shapes, curves and detailing that would be difficult to achieve by hand, with consistent results when you need a full set of matching awards.

Finished by hand to last a lifetime

After machining, each trophy is finished by our skilled team. In 2021 we designed and made 12 trophies free of charge for The Bolton News community awards, and every piece was hand sanded and then finished with a clear lacquer to protect the European oak and ensure it lasts a lifetime.

Engravings and logos can be added to suit your event, brand or category, turning each wooden award into a keepsake the winner will want to display.

Hardwood options for wooden trophies

The timber you choose shapes the look and feel of the finished award. We work with a range of fine hardwoods, including:

European oak: Durable with a distinctive grain, and the timber we used for the Bolton News community awards.
American black walnut: Rich, chocolate-brown tones for a more luxurious award.
