We recently completed a project that was particularly challenging but immensely rewarding – the design, manufacture and installation continuous Sapele handrails running through 4 floors, capping a continuous solid wall balustrade for the headquarters of luxury fit-out company ‘Finchatton’ in central London.

What made this project particularly challenging was the complex profile of the handrail, which required extreme precision and attention to detail. Even with our state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machines, we had to use our 3D scanner and all the experience of our design team to achieve the perfect fit on the wall, with no undulations and no room for gaps in the underside.

The hard work paid off; the finished product is a true masterpiece that is sure to wow anyone who sees it. The handrail was French polished in situ; stained dark, which creates a striking contrast against the off-white plastered walls, adding a touch of sophistication and elegance to the space.
