For a private client in Bolton, we were asked to add the finishing touch to an impressive twin‑flight staircase and a sweeping circular landing. While the metalwork was completed by others, it was our job to design, manufacture, and fit the bespoke handrails, ensuring they fitted perfectly with the existing structure.

We used American Ash – which is known for its clean, straight grain and pale tone – and applied a clear finish in‑house to highlight the natural beauty of the timber. Each section was carefully manufactured with a precision‑cut groove, tailored to slot in seamlessly with the existing metalwork.

This project also featured four bespoke ‘drop end’ terminations, crafted specifically for this client’s staircase. The end result is a crisp and tactile handrail that complements the bold geometry of the stairs, bringing warmth and detail into the home.
