This stunning handrail and balustrade was installed by Handrail Creations, running through four floors in a private house in London. We manufactured softwood baserail, antique brass balustrade, and continuous sapele handrails all thanks to our precision measuring equipment and high-tech production.

Our 3D scanner measured the curve of the stair, allowing our design team to plot out the entire balustrade which was made in our factory. This included some 16mm feature spindles which were brass plated and then chemically aged for an antique look.

Using this method we were able to produce stable and striking balustrade with no need for a core rail on top of the spindles, and therefore no ugly welds or screws.

This project not only demonstrates the level of precision and complexity that we can work to, but moreover shows what as a spindle supplier we can offer various solutions to a complicated staircase.
