Bolton Hospice Handrail Creations Charity Fundraising Bike ride Donation Support Community Care Difference High-quality

24 Hours COMPLETE!

On Thursday 18th May, our team of staff members took turns riding a spin bike for 24 hours straight. We were all determined to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity, and we are so proud to say that we raised over £1,800!

Bolton Hospice provides specialist care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families. The hospice offers a range of services, including inpatient care, daycare, and home care. The hospice also provides counseling and support groups for patients and their families.

We were inspired to raise money for Bolton Hospice after learning about the work that the hospice does.

The 24-hour bike ride was a great success, and we are so proud to have raised money for such a worthy cause. We’re proud of our staff members for their hard work and dedication and to the local community, as well as everyone who donated, for their support.

We dressed in fancy dress, as bananas, buzz light year, Mario bros and more. With music, films and pizza for fuel, we rode through the night. Visitors included the Bolton News and members of the charity.

Jack Savage, Bolton Hospice Fundraising Assistant, said:

“You guys have smashed this, £1,805 is massive for us and will make sure that the hospice can continue the amazing work it does to support our patients and their families in Bolton”.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us in our fundraising efforts. We could not have done it without you!

If you would like to donate to Bolton Hospice, you can do so here.

A big thank you to:

  • Our staff members for their hard work and dedication
  • Burnden Park Fitness Academy for lending us a spin bike
  • Everyone who made a donation, large or small
  • Bolton Hospice for their incredible work

We hope that you will join us next year for another event!
