Martin’s Retirement

Marking 9 years of hard work, dedication and occasionally shouting at people, one of the founders of Handrail Creations is now officially ‘off the rails’ and has retired.

Martin originally served his apprenticeship and built his wealth of engineering knowledge in the Aerospace industry. He machined parts for submarines and engine components for Rolls Royce. Before Handrail Creations, he ran a small company selling and servicing industrial cleaning equipment.

When the chance came to work with his son Kenny on this project, the two set about planning how they could build a company renowned for precision, reliability and excellent customer service.

So that was it, they took a loan, found a and whilst Kenny began to build a brand and explore 3D modelling channels, Martin personally disassembled the machine, then re-built it himself when it arrived in the UK.

That really sums up his time at Handrail Creations – he is a problem solver, a brilliant engineer and has very high standards. His conservative and logical approach is rare in a world of impatience, and the this business wouldn’t exist without him.

Before he left, we hosted a party for him with gifts, cakes and a little bit of alcohol for good measure. His plan is to spend more time with his grandkids, and travel the world.

Thank you for everything Good luck with your retirement, Martin.
