Spring Walk 2024

The Handrail Creations team are all putting their best foot forward as part of our 10-year birthday with a walk up to Rivington Pike! Based around half an hour from our offices in Bolton, Rivington Pike is the site of an ancient beacon used to warn the local people as far back as the 1100s.

Though 2024 marks our 10 year birthday as a company, our team outings are a regular part of working for Handrail Creations. Once every three months, the team finishes early and takes part in a group activity. In the past, we have held a games night, office Olympics and now we have conquered Rivington Pike.

The wellbeing of our staff is one of our top priorities, current research suggests that getting out into nature can help with symptoms of anxiety and depression. By swapping the workshop and the office for green space and nature, the Handrail Creations team were able to explore, socialise and get their steps in.

Of course, we would be lying if we didn’t mention the pub at the end of the walk as our staff were able to enjoy a hard-earned pint!
