Teak Handrails for Self-build

When a self-build client asked us to make some handrails for his new staircase, we were happy to help. When the same client told us that he had his own free-issue teak and the 3D design was already finalised, the team were delighted.

Often seen in maritime applications, as well as outdoor balustrades,  teak is a beautiful hardwood that is famously very durable and very expensive, when compared with other hardwoods.

Handrail Creations manufactured a number of 90 degree wreaths, corners and straight rails for the bespoke staircase in question, which the client was able to install himself as we pre-cut all of the joints, and included our mechanical fixing bolts for perfect alignment.

This is what our client told us;

“Just say – thanks for a great job – its all fitted in fine.”

    Need a 90 degree

    Love the teak handrail something similar

    Looking for something that looks great but add safety. Open to other options

    Existing staircase needs handrail so that the widest part of the stairs are encouraged to be used.

    Thank you

    Both parents hold on to handrail, use for leverage when going up or down the stair.
