3D Scanning

At Handrail Creations we use state of the art 3D scanning equipment to measure staircases – accurately and quickly. We can survey steel core rail, helical staircases, spindles, curved landings and just about anything else with unrivalled precision.

Not only does our scanner pick up shapes, but it picks up colours & textures too which allows our design team to consider every little detail. Unlike others, we keep this process in-house.

3D scanning staircases gives us an advantage over traditional methods, allowing us to design balustrade and handrails fully confident that they will fit first time. Our process also means we can produce 3D renders and technical drawings prior to production.
