The majority of projects within the education sector and city regeneration require FSC timber products and suppliers as part of an ongoing government drive towards using more sustainable materials. Handrail Creations can now bid for these projects, and have just been awarded a contract to supply and install purpose made handrails to the Houses of Parliament – in FSC certified European oak. This prestigious project win is an impressive achievement for the company and sets the bar for future ventures armed with the FSC certification. This follows hot on the heels of a contract to supply and install 800 metres of bespoke FSC certified handrails to the Kingsgate project in London.
For almost twenty years, FSC has been the most widely recognized global certification system for responsible timber sourcing.
