This year Handrail Creations will be exhibiting our bespoke handrails in Birmingham as part of an interior design competition.

8 talented interior designers have been chosen to create a unique space ‘under the stairs’ which will be judged by Kevin McCloud and seen by thousands of people over the 5 day show. The winner of the competition will be announced on the Grand Theatre.

As the UK’s leading wooden handrail supplier, Handrail Creations will design and manufacture a custom balustrade for each display. The themes will incorporate a number of popular styles – from classic Victorian wooden spindles, to contemporary steel spindles and antique brass finishes. The hardwood handrails include Oak, Ash and Walnut amongst others. Director Kenny Macfarlane, who will be at the event said:

“We’re honoured to be part of such a prestigious competition, and look forward to showing off our handrail and balustrade ideas with homeowners and architects throughout the exhibition.”
