Handrails & Spindles in Notting Hill

We recently installed a custom balustrade and curved handrail to this helical steel staircase. We were asked to create a sweeping handrail system with antique brass spindles. The helical handrails run over four floors and have been French polished to match flooring in the house. We wanted to create a banister that has no ugly steel core rail showing and still lots of strength – we manufactured our sapele handrail with precise drilled holes to the underside to fit the steel spindles.
