Game, Set, Match at Wimbledon

Handrail Creations have secured an order to manufacture & install new oak handrails as part of an extensive refurbishment at the world famous tennis venue, Wimbledon.

We have been asked to make & install new oak handrails, complete with grooves for LED lighting and fireproof coating for TWO new stairs, including the curved competitor’s staircase which we’re looking forward to seeing on TV every summer.

The handrails will be installed in March 2023 and is another prestigious project that we are proud to have in our portfolio, following Buckingham Palace and Churchill’s Old War Offices earlier this year.

“Millenium building” is a new facilities building that will provide accommodation for players, members, press, umpires, and officials. Three open elevations and the plan form and section of the building offer private and informal spaces, while still providing the enjoyment of the activities of the Championships, through spectacular views across various parts of the grounds.
